How much should a computer repair cost?

No one expects their computer to break down, but the unfortunate truth is that it happens. When it does, you’ll want to have a good idea of what a good price for computer repair work would be so you’ll know whether or not you’re being overcharged. My costs start from £60 and wont go above £120 for labour charges (Excludes any hardware)

Are you located in a shop?

Our business is located and run from a private residential address in Halesowen. Customers are more than welcome to visit us onsite however an appointment will be necessary. We are also covered by public liability for your peace of mind.

Do you offer guarantees on repairs?

All of our hardware repairs come with a 90 day warranty, any hardware replaced will be covered by a manufacturer warranty which is usually 12 months. For software issues we offer a 30 day warranty.

How do I prepare my computer for repair?

We always advise our customers to make regular backups of their data. This can be done using an external device such a Hard Drive or USB Drive. We would also recommend using cloud storage such as One Drive, Google Drive & Dropbox. If you are unable to backup your data you can rest assure that all your data will be preserved upon repair

We request that all laptops are supplied with their chargers. No extra peripherals are required.

If possible please remove all passwords from your device.

How long do computer & laptop repairs usually take?

This usually depends on the kind of issue you are having. We hold a small selection of parts in stock so we can offer same day repairs. Any parts we don't have in stock can be ordered in for next day delivery. Its our aim to complete most repairs in 2-3 days. We always keep our customers up to date with the progress of their repair by phone, text or email.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit & debits cards, Paypal, Bank Transfer and Cash. All payments are due on completion of your repair. We are no longer able to take any payments via cheque.

Do you charge for callouts & home visits?

If you are located in Halesowen or the surrounding areas we do not charge a call out fee for home users. For businesses & out of area please get in touch for a quote.
